The Shooter is one of the most functional sport glasses on the market.

The frame fits, and blocks wind, almost like a goggle with its vented, one-piece foam brow/nose pad and side flares. Going beyond traditional UV protection, supravision lenses block out short-wave blue components of visable light up to 400nm, making them a must-have for spring snow conditions, when a goggle is too warm, but the snow is too fast for regular sunglasses.

Supravision lenses are anti-scratch, anti-static (discourages snow and dust from sticking to them), anti-fog, and impact resistant. They block 100% UVA, UVB and IR radiation. These lenses are so tough, Uvex engineers estimate they have five-times the usable life of a normal polycarbonate lens.

Sunlight has a vertical wavelength. Once it bounces off a surface, reflected sunlight has a horizontal wavelength, and the technical term for this phenomena is "polarization".
