Campagnolo Record 10 Group -- The Record group offers the most technology seen in a 10 speed kit of parts today. Campagnolo Record QS Front Derailleur -- The external cage in carbon fiber and the internal cage in aluminum save a great deal of weight, the braze-on version weighing just 69 g.
Shifting both up and down is quicker thanks to the combination of these two materials that make the cage of the front derailleur considerably stiffer and the elongated arm permits more immediate and lighter shifting.
The aluminum cage lifts the chain up and has a special coating that increases resistance to wear and reduces attrition with the chain.
Carrera Frisco Frameset - For Sale -- Reparto Corse has one Frisco that has been used for display at the studio for sale. It has never been built. The size is large the color is natural carbon.
The “Solid Carbon” technology used in the Frisco is the most classic and most tried technology for producing frame structures in carbon.
The result of Carrera's construction technique on the Frisco is a component, manufactured in just one stage, without any other mountings or procedures and without interruptions to the carbon fibers that can in this way fully enable all their qualities. The carbon fibers are high module (HM) and high resistance (HR), assembled in standard sized moulds and consolidated in high pressure autoclave employing the “sack” technique. The interweaving and the quality of the fibers are varied and reinforcements in kevlar are also applied to the most critical parts in order to increase the mechanical resistance and optimize strength, stiffness and low weight. The new generation RC2 wishbone is applied to the front monocoque frame and is also used with the Estremo and Ulisse series. The production of components using moulds allow us to attain high quality with complete control over the consolidation of the materials. We take great care of the finish and maintain a moderate cost. Frames are spray-painted by hand and use a full carbon Speedcarbon fork.

Chain-L Chain Lube -- Chain-L is a new chain lube designed to provide 1000 miles of silent running between applications.
Whether applying to a brand new chain or being used to re-lubricate an installed chain the Chain-L lube will deep things going smoothly. Chain-L is a non-wax based formula that will not break down and wash out in the rain or become gummy and leaving things mucky. This is a wet lube that just flat out works. (3oz bottle)
Tips from the manufacturer on its use and application are below:
1. New chains should be oiled off the bike by stretching out on old newspaper with the
rollers up. Oil generously & allow to drain. This will do a better job & save time on the cleanup of the freewheel & chainrings. Skip to step 4.
2. For an already installed chain. Clean as much old glop off as possible before application.
3. Oil the chain in high gear. (Outer ring & smallest cog.)
4. It soaks in slowly, so take a break. 10 minutes or so is plenty.
5. The oil does it's work in the chain not on the chain, so, while turning the cranks, wipe off excess with a paper towel leaving only a thin film.
6. Now wipe off the pulleys and then look for fans of oil spinning off while turning the cranks. There shouldn't be any, if there is repeat step 5.
7. When finished, change gears and wipe off the outer chain ring and the pulleys. Then
run the bike through the gears to spread a bit of the oil throughout the cassette.
8. Don't forget to wipe off any oil that got onto the derailleur, chainstay, etc.
By now, the chain should have a thin, sticky film of oil on its surface, which will attract
dust on the first few rides. This should be left on as rust protection. The good news is,
after the stickiness is blotted up, the chain won't get any dirtier.
This may seem like a lot of work, but it's faster to do than to read about. And the bike won't need lubing again for 1,000 miles or so.

Park BBT4 Bottom Bracket Tool -- The BBT-4 is made for the installation and removal of the "star shaped" cartridge cups used on Sachs®, Campagnolo® Veloce®, Mirage®, and Avante®; and Thun® SKF Series sealed cartridge bottom brackets. The handle is vinyl coated for comfort.

Torelli Corsa Strada Frameset - Display unit for sale! -- Reparto Corse has one Corsa Strada display unit for sale. It is a 54 in Red with yellow decals and will be sold with the Torelli Aspect Carbon Fork. It is new and never built. It has been used for display at the Reparto Corse Fitting Studio. The price is for frame and fork together.
The Corsa Strada is a real racing bike at the sport bike price. It is built of Columbus Brain double-butted steel drawn down to only 0.5mm wall thickness. This is as thin as most tubing companies are capable of drawing steel. The 56 cm frame weighs 4 pounds on the button.
The Corsa Strada is light, fast, comfortable, and beautiful.
To ensure stiffness in the bottom bracket area Torelli uses a cast shell to reinforce and strengthen this critical area. The builder brazes on reinforcements rings on the top and bottom of the head tube for added strength and the seat lug is an investment casting as well. Torelli believes they've blended the best of both techniques.
The Torelli Corsa Strada is proof that a well designed frame made with care and less exotic materials will ride well. In fact, it can out-perform a frame of more expensive tubing built without the attention to detail that characterizes a fine bike. The Italian builders of the Corsa Strade laboriously fill in the ends where the fork tips are inserted with brass and carefully hand-shape the joint with files and sanders for beauty and strength. Time is the item lavished on Torelli frames.
It has always been a major goal of Torelli to bring the performance of the most expensive Italian machines within the reach of everyone. And do not let anybody fool you, the Italians are the best at making superb stage-racing bikes.
The Corsa Strada is built in a small shop north of Padua that specializes in contract building for famous names in the cycling world.
Forks:
Steel fork: Torelli utilizes .9mm fork blades for the Corsa TIG. This allowed them to use the same fork crown we use on their Countach OS and better frames. With the lighter, more supple .9mm blades, they can use the stiffer, lighter fork crown that shortens the flexible length of the fork blades. The net result is a far lighter, yet comfortable, stable fork that imparts the ride wanted: comfortable and predictable.
Carbon Fork Options: Torelli stocks two Carbon forks for the Corsa Strada, the Reynolds Comp and the Columbus Carve. Both have aluminum steerers and give a good, stable ride.
Design:
Every frame size is built to a unique geometry, because a six foot man is not a scaled-up version of a man five feet five inches tall. They both have roughly the same size torso, but the bigger man has much longer arms and legs. Torelli design accommodates this fact. As the frame gets larger, the seat tube gets slacker and the top tube gets longer.
The brake cable routing is split external for lighter weight and crisper feel.
The seat stays are brazed directly to the seat lug for lighter weight.

Uvex Shooter -- The Shooter is one of the most functional sport glasses on the market.
The frame fits, and blocks wind, almost like a goggle with its vented, one-piece foam brow/nose pad and side flares. Going beyond traditional UV protection, supravision lenses block out short-wave blue components of visable light up to 400nm, making them a must-have for spring snow conditions, when a goggle is too warm, but the snow is too fast for regular sunglasses.
Supravision lenses are anti-scratch, anti-static (discourages snow and dust from sticking to them), anti-fog, and impact resistant. They block 100% UVA, UVB and IR radiation. These lenses are so tough, Uvex engineers estimate they have five-times the usable life of a normal polycarbonate lens.
Uvex Wing RS Helmet -- The Wing RS is lightweight (275g or 295g depending on shell size), and extremely well ventilated with 22 openings in the shell.
The double inmold process used to make this helmet allows uvex to incorporate large vents so it has molded in Bee Stop mesh.

Individual Adapting System (IAS): With its ratcheting closure mechanism, and pivot points, the Uvex IAS 2-system provides a unique, three-dimensional, and micro-adjustable fit. The integrated strap system guide guarantees a good and tight fit. The IAS knob can be operated with one hand, while the helmet is on. The system also features a ventilated forehead with anti-allergic, washable cushion.
Inmold and Double Inmold Technology: Where other helmets have their protective foam glued into the hard outer shell, in the uvex inmold process, the foam is injected into a mold that is "lined" with the Makrolon outer shell. As a result, the foam is bonded to the outer shell. The result is a much more stable helmet, which allows Uvex to increase the size of the ventilation openings. In a Double Inmold helmet, a lower microshell is added to the mold, providing optimum protection for the lower, back part of the helmet.
Monomatic closure: Most helmets use a standard click-lock, and anyone who rides knows that the fit of the chin strap can change as you get moving and start to sweat. Until now, you had a choice: stop and fiddle with your straps, or ride with a loose strap.
Makrolon: Makrolon is a high-tech thermoplastic Polycarbonate (PC) material developed by Messrs, Bayer. Uvex is using this material for the production of PC lenses for goggles and sportglasses, and the shells of inmold bike helmets.
Uvex has solved that particular problem with a ratcheted design (similar to what you might find on a pair of bike shoes or in-line skates, only smaller). This allows you to fine-tune how tight the strap closes on the chin on the fly. The strap itself is a 16mm wide, non-fade, uv-resistant, light, smooth, and easy on the skin.
