The aerodunamic shape of the frame is specifically designed for a high co-efficient of aerodynamic penetration with minimal drag while maintaining extraordinary stiffness through the bottom bracket area for the most efficient torque transfer possible. Technical Features of the Carbon Chrono are: -Italian tubes manufactured in composite materials at Carrera's research and development facility. -Custom design and hand assembled with Carrera “laminated carbon” technology. -The carbon fiber tubing is manufactured in a high pressure autoclave to obtain a structure equivalent to a monocoque style in terms of stiffness.
